In 2014, BottegaVenetawrote a new chapter of the Knot story with the introduction ofa new fragrance. Named after the iconic clutch, Knot eau de parfum pays tribute to both the bag’s signature shape and the endless possibilities of the juice inside. Artisanally finished by hand from the highest quality materials, the golden flacon is topped with a knot closure representing the perfect marriage of understated luxury and fragrance in the world of BottegaVeneta.

AN EXPRESSION OF SOPHISTICATION

Four years after the debut of Knot eau de parfum, BottegaVeneta introducesKnot EauAbsolue.The new composition enhances the elegance of the original fragrance with an infusion of notes that add richness and opulence.

The floral oriental fragrance opens with the familiar essences of lavender and orange blossom. A delicate and complex sweetness of jasmine at the heart begins to differentiate Knot EauAbsolue from the original juice. The scent continues to intensify, culminating at the base veil of precious myrrh. The final structure brings a new angle to the BottegaVeneta olfactive offerings, one with sophistication and sensuality, that echoes the endless possibilities of theluxury brand.

Knot EauAbsolue continues the longstanding collaboration of Creative Director Tomas Maier with master perfumer Daniela Andrier. In accordance with BottegaVeneta’s abiding dedication to quality and craftsmanship, it was crucial to source only the finest raw materials for the creation of the juice.

New bags in the Knot family, such as the Olimpia Knot and the City Knot, were conceived as an evolution from the evening minaudière to bags that work for both day and evening. Using this iconic hardware as a closure for Knot eau de parfum and Knot EauAbsolue is another chapter in our story.”

Inspired by Venetian glasswork and the traditional Italian carafe, the Knot flacon combines rounded curves and clean lines that reflect the design of the Knotminaudière. The hand-finished cap and oro matte clasp are instantly recognizable to theBottegaVenetaconnoisseur. To mirror the warmer, more opulent evolution of the juice, the Knot EauAbsolue flacon is recast in a dark golden hue. With a deeper sense of refinement and sensuality, the bottle intensifies the fragrance in appearance, imbuing it with a precious quality.
