Huawei appoints new retailer director

Huawei Consumer Business Group has appointed Rishi Gupta as retailer director for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Based in Dubai, Gupta will spearhead Huawei's retail channels in the UAE and strengthen retail partnerships to provide customers easy access to Huawei's technologies.

Gupta has a wealth of retail channel experience and joins Huawei from regional retailer Sharaf DG.

Gupta commented: "I am delighted to join Huawei at this exciting time for the company. I look forward to working closely with retailers to further develop Huawei's retail channel strategy and reach in the years ahead."

Prior to joining Huawei, Gupta served as assistant general manager at Sharaf DG.
