Strengthening the brand's position in a market where compact saloons remain the preferred choice among many, the New Renault MEGANE is equipped with generous space for its occupants i.e. dimensions of 4.63m long and 1.81m wide, and a record wheelbase in its class of 2.71m. The new MEGANE shares many styling features with its larger sibling Renault TALISMAN, including its lighting signature which is visible night and day like the front C-shaped lighting signature features LED 3D-effect light guides & the rear LED lights that form a unique horizontal 3D-effect signature featuring Edge Light technology. Travelling comfort is further enhanced by the careful attention that has been paid to the interior finish, to the quality of the soft-to-the-touch materials, which are within easy reach of the driver and passengers. The new MEGANE presents a wide range of unique features ranging from a configurable 7-inch TFT colour screen instrument display and the R-LINK 2 multimedia tablet available in two formats (7-inch landscape format, or 8.7-inch portrait format), as well as MULTI-SENSE. With the assistance of MULTI-SENSE technology, the driver is able to adjust the engine sound with a choice between three different settings: Neutral, Comfort and Sport.

Ensuring complete customer satisfaction is met, another feature that sets the high-end model apart is Easy Trunk Access (ETA), a hands-free boot opening system that works by detecting movement underneath the rear bumper. Additionally, the new MEGANE is equipped with Blind Spot Warning (BSW) to ensure safe overtaking maneuvers.
