Panaya and Tricentis join forces to deliver SAP business process testing platform

Software test automation provider Tricentis, alongside its partner Panaya, a SaaS-based test management specialist, have announced the launch of a new platform designed for testing SAP business processes.

Jake Klein, CEO of Panaya, commented: "While traditional solutions such as HPQC don't engage business users and lack business process visibility, Autonomous Testing by Panaya and Tricentis addresses all aspects of a modern testing suite including automated process discovery, automatic test execution, manual test acceleration and test management."

He added: "Today customers achieve up to a 50% reduction in test cycle time utilizing Panaya Test Center, and with Autonomous Testing we expect even greater efficiency and coverage."

The in-industry platform, which will manage autonomous software testing in SAP environments, utilises comprehensive test algorithms to monitor interactions between the user and the system, while utilising machine learning to identify usage patterns.

These in turn will help limit redundant regression testing, and also report changes in the SAP environment that may impact critical business processes.

The platform combines a variety of testing technologies, which includes Tricentis Tosca, a test automation for continuous testing, as well as integration with the Panaya Test Center, a provider of cloud-based end-to-end test management.
