HTC U Play reaches the UAE

HTC has announced it has launched the HTC U Play at AED 1799 in the UAE.
Nikitas Glykas, president, HTC Middle East and Africa, said: "Customers' are the focus of everything we do at HTC, and the HTC U Play is clearly an indication of our commitment to bring the best to our valued customers. With a liquid surface design, an Ultra Selfie camera, adaptive audio capabilities and an artificial intelligence based assistant, this is the perfect smartphone for the masses."
As part of the HTC U Series, the device is a compact smartphone as it is 145.99 x 72.9 x 3.5-7.99mm in size and weights 145g, along with a 5.2" full HD, super LCD with Gorilla Glass.
The smartphone features HTC Sense Companion, an artificial intelligence based assistant with built-in voice recognition that responds to the user's voice and enables hands-free navigation among other advanced capabilities.
The insides also feature MediaTek Helio P10 and Octa-core, 64-bit. The total storage is 32GB or 64GB and RAM is 3GB or 4GB, but there is also microSD expanson which supports additional memory cards up to 2TB.
The HTC U Play features a 16MP main camera which includes Optical Image Stabilization and Phase detection autofocus (PDAF) to reduce blurred images.
The device is available across all major retail outlets in Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Sapphire Blue, and comes with an HTC U Play Clear Case, a Rapid Charger 3.0 and HTC USonic Hi-Res Audio earphones.
