Concrete works on Nakheel’s Palm Tower project pass 80% mark
Dubai-headquartered property developer, Nakheel, has announced that concrete works on its Palm Tower project on Palm Jumeirah have crossed the 80% mark, with 42 floors complete.
According to Nakheel, the remaining floors of the 52-storey project are expected to be completed in Q3 2018.
The development comprises 50 floors of hotel and residential units topped off by a rooftop infinity pool. Upon completion, the project will also feature a restaurant complex on the 51st floor and a public viewing deck on the 52nd.
In statement, Nakheel revealed that the tower will consist of a 289-room St. Regis hotel, as well as 432 residences. The hotel will reportedly occupy the first 18 floors, with fully furnished studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments on the upper floors.
The public viewing deck will be accessible from Nakheel Mall, a retail and dining development connected to The Palm Tower, which is also under construction.
