Zulekha to build new hospital in Sharjah
Zulekha Healthcare Group has announced big expansion plans for the UAE this year starting with the revamp of its hospital in Dubai , adding 60 inpatient beds to the hospital. Following the completion of the Zulekha Hospital Dubai expansion, it will have an additional 60 inpatient beds, operation theatre arrangements, emergency services and labour rooms, taking its total capacity to 179 beds in 2018. The announcement from the UAE healthcare group comes ahead of a leading industry event - Arab Health 2018 which opens tomorrow (January 29) at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Commenting on the expansion, Taher Shams, the managing director of Zulekha Healthcare Group, said: "This year’s Arab Health marks an important milestone for us as we are pleased to be able to announce two major expansions in the UAE that remain to serve the citizens of this country and support the UAE’s Vision 2021." “Providing a quality healthcare service is key to the success of a flourishing society, our continual investment in health services and innovations highlights our ongoing commitment to the UAE and the health of its people,” he added. Additionally, Zulekha Healthcare Group will be hosting an INNO robot this year at Arab Health, assisting visitors with information of the group’s services and organisation as a whole, said the company in a statement. It is also introducing Robotic pharmacies as well in order to improve efficiencies in administrative tasks, data collections and customer engagements. As part of its long-term strategy, Zulekha plans to launch its India brand at Sharjah, UAE, with a 150-bed facility that will deliver customised services to diverse communities in the region,
