Bloom Holding achieves remarkable growth in 2017

Positive performance in real estate, education, healthcare, hospitality; enters new markets

Bloom Holding has achieved remarkable growth across its entire portfolio of offerings in 2017, the developer has announced.

The company attributed its success to improved performance and sales in real estate and allied sectors, expanding business partnerships with best-in-class brands in education, healthcare and hospitality, as well as its foray into new markets.

In 2017, Bloom’s presence in the UAE real estate market translated into strong and broad-based sales growth across its project portfolio. In addition to launching new projects in the mid-segment market, including Bloom Heights and Bloom Towers in Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), the developer commenced the construction for its most anticipated developments in Dubai.

Marking 2018 as the year of handovers, Bloom is on track to deliver a raft of its key projects including FAYA, the fourth phase of its master-planned community Bloom Gardens, as well as Park View and Soho Square, the two high-end mixed-use developments taking shape in the university neighborhood of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. It is also set to open the Abu Dhabi EDITION at Bloom Marina in August 2018 – this will be the first EDITION hotel in the Middle East. These deliveries will bolster Bloom’s reputation as a developer focused on the time-bound handover of its projects.

In 2017, Bloom expanded its footprint to China, India and the UK through participating in leading trade shows including Dubai Property Show in Mumbai and Dubai Property Roadshow in London. The outings generated high interest among major overseas investors. The company remains confident about its prospects in these markets in 2018 and aims to continue showcasing its developments at international roadshows.

In education, Bloom Education expanded its business relationships with best-in-class brands. It started the construction of an 89,000 sq m school campus in Al Barsha South in Dubai that will house two premium K-12 educational institutions – Brighton College Dubai, a British curriculum school affiliated with Brighton College UK, and Dwight School Dubai, an American International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum school affiliated with Dwight School New York. The campus is set to open its doors in the fall of 2018. Bloom Education also opened MindChamps Nursery, part of the renowned Singapore-based early education brand MindChamps that offers an award-winning curriculum.

In healthcare, Bloom Healthcare is in discussions with HealthPlus, a network of highly specialized outpatient centers in Abu Dhabi, to open a HealthPlus Family Health Center at Bloom Gardens in the capital. It has also outlined plans to establish a new ophthalmology hospital in Dubai in partnership with prominent Spanish brand Barraquer Ophthalmology Center.
