The Dubai-based Al Naboodah Group Enterprises (ANGE) has revealed that gender diversity is among the key priorities of its human resources (HR) and recruitment division this year.

Speaking with Construction Week, Emma Seymour, ANGE’s HR director for construction, said: “Gender diversity will remain a key focus, [with efforts] particularly directed at attracting Emirati females to our workforce.”

She added that the group will also be “targeting an increase in the number of external training hours” delivered to its junior staff.

“These programmes will support their career development within ANGE and prepare them to take the next step,” she explained.

According to Seymour, ANGE “aspires to be an employer of choice”, adding: “Our commitment to employee welfare ensures that we continually strive to upskill and develop our talent.”
