Phase 2 of Majis Industrial Services' Central Plant in Oman commences operations
Majis Industrial Services has launched Phase 2 of its central plant for industrial waste in the port of Sohar
The second phase of the Majis Industrial Services' Central Plant in Sohar, Oman has commenced operations. The plant, which treats and recycles liquid industrial waste, was launched under the patronage of H E Nasser bin Khamis al Jashmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif al-Lamki, governor of North Batinah, ONA reported. Ahmed bin Saif al Mazroui, CEO, Majis Industrial Services company, said that the construction of the plant, the total cost of which amounted to RO12mn (US$31.2mn), comes as part of the expansion plans for Sohar refinery and Lowe Plastic Industries Complex.
Dr Salim bin Ali al Maamari, director of planning and projects, Majis Industrial Services Company, gave a detailed presentation of the station and its operations at the launch.
