Jumeirah Luxury joins hands with Dubai Carbon

UAE-based Jumeirah Luxury Living said it has signed an agreement with Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence (DCCE) in a further step to support the emirate's ‘green vision’ for sustainable development. A collection of 291 attached villas and townhouses, ‘Jumeirah Luxury’ is located in Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE). Once completed in late 2019, the Dh1-billion ($272 million) development will offer unparalleled views and access to the ‘Fire’ world-class golf course, said a statement from the company. The strategic collaboration will result in Dubai Carbon providing guidance and advice to Jumeirah Luxury Living, resulting in lower carbon and greenhouse emissions for their lifestyle communities in Dubai, it added. On the tieup, CEO Walid El Dawy said: "Jumeirah Luxury Living is committed to supporting energy management, not only as part of the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030, but for the benefit of our residents." This approach will ultimately allow them to cut their energy bills as well as live in a cleaner, fresher environment," stated El Dawy. "This agreement is one of many partnerships and initiatives that we’ve implemented to underline our commitment to providing sustainable living for our residents," he added. DCCE chief executive Ivano Iannelli said: "Dubai is focused on promoting sustainable development initiatives in order to transition to a low-carbon and green economy. Jumeirah Luxury Living is a key partner for Dubai Carbon and will help us achieve our goals as part of the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030." The development will afford residents a luxury lifestyle and is perfectly situated in the heart of Dubai. Prices start from Dh2.3 million (626,073) with innovative payment plans.
