Flynas renews commitment to passenger safety
Flynas Airlines has taken the lead in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be the only airline which ensures in-flight safety for its crew and passengers, from all known in-flight environments

Since 2015, Flynas has partnered with Virus Guard, who manufactures various Airbus and Boeing disinfectant products to enhance in-flight hygiene. This continues the fight against the transmission of diseases while traveling through the airport as well as in-flight.
The viral infections circulating in the Middle East and its surroundings are alarming. In a bid to keep them under control through travels is the aim of the partnership with Flynas and Virus Guard. Virus Guard provides 99 per cent of protection by providing wipes, nebulizer and disinfectant spray. These products all help in the fight against diseases such as Zika, Corona, Ebola, E.Coli, Norovirus and many more. The investment by Flynas is also in support of fighting the plague of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). The Health Ministry has recorded 23 cases of MERS during the hajj month with 13 being in Dumat Al-Jandal and 12 from direct contact with camels.
The products can be used in various on all surfaces such as galleys, tray tables, lavatories, window blinds, door handles, armrests and can also be used to disinfect crew hands after service or treating sick passengers. The crew may use the virus guard wipes for the same reasons and the disinfectant spray in a more efficient way by disinfecting serving areas handles on the bathroom, seats and even their serving trolleys.
The Virus Guard group of products is beneficial as it helps to eliminate the risk of cross contamination. It is effective for up to 10 days as it seals all hygiene gaps. Other airlines and even businesses frequented by the public are encouraged to invest in Virus Guard products to ensure the safety and proper hygiene for themselves and their customers.
The managers at Flynas as well as Virus Guard, have both expressed satisfaction with the renewal of the partnership and are quite hopeful that it will continue to promote in-flight safety through hygienic measures.
