Work on Oman's Duqm Airport passenger terminal 70% complete

The third package for Duqm Airport's passenger terminal building is 70% complete, authorities announced.
Oman's Ministry of Transport and Communications revealed that the package is due to be completed by the end of this year.
A passenger terminal spanning 8,660m2, with an annual capacity for 500,000 passengers, is being developed through Package 3.
Data revealed by Oman Airports Management Company that the number of passengers at Duqm Airport is close to 15,000.
234 flights operate out of the airport, ONA reported, citing OAMC statistics.
Air traffic at the airport "until the middle of 2017" increased by 14.15%, the report added.
