Abu Dhabi Airports inks deal with Musanada

Abu Dhabi Airports has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) to strengthen co-operation between the two entities in the areas of knowledge sharing and facility development, to further support the growth of the infrastructure sector in Abu Dhabi. The MoU aims at facilitating co-operation between the two companies by launching workshops with relevant expertise from both parties, in order to then design frameworks for partnerships and knowledge exchange, highlighting the key roles and responsibilities for each organization, remarked Abdul Majeed Al Khoori, the acting chief executive of Abu Dhabi Airports, after signing the deal with Sweidan Rashed Sweidan Al Dhaheri, the chief executive of Musanada at ADAC headquarters. It also details the processes for securing human resources and labour in the service, technical and management sectors, for the maintenance of the airport facilities and terminals, and how to strengthen engagement in the areas of construction, logistics, and contract management, as per international best practice, he stated. Abu Dhabi Airports, he said, was keen to have compatible partners to support its tremendous progress in its journey towards the ambitious infrastructure development plan. "With this MoU today, we have paved the way for a stronger joint front, with our partners from Musanada, to deliver what this Emirate aspires to in terms of a leading aviation sector empowered by world class facilities and services," observed Al Khoori. Sweidan Rashed Sweidan Al Dhaheri said there was growing interest in Abu Dhabi and the projects currently under development in the emirate were attracting worldwide attention. "This is mainly due to the great investment environment that the emirate has to offer and the world leading projects across many sectors, that are currently under construction," he remarked. Al Dhaheri said Musanada was committed to carrying out all technical works for Abu Dhabi Airports as per the highest standards. Its scope of work is not limited to the design, construction and delivery of key dynamic government projects, but also includes facility management services. Currently, Musanada provides 2,713 facilities and buildings within Abu Dhabi with facility management services, through specialized work forces, as well as providing 24/7 customer care call centre services, noted Al Dhaheri. "Our main goal is to support development programs and strengthen “Musanada’s” operations within the facility management and maintenance industry, to maintain assets and enhance efficiency and sustainability by adopting the highest international standards,"
