Swiss-Belhotel to open hotels in Egypt, Bahrain

Swiss-Belhotel International has signed an agreement to operate a new hotel in Egypt and two new hotels in Bahrain, the hotel operator announced this week.

Located at Sidi Abd El Rahman Bay on the north coast of Egypt, The 150-key Swiss-Belresort Marseilia Beach 4 will be built by Marseilia Egyptian Gulf Real Estate Investment S.A.E, according to Reuters.

The four-star hotel is currently in the design phase with a scheduled completion date by 2020. No further details on construction timelines have been given so far.

With the addition of a 1,200-key Swiss-Belhotel Marseilia on Alexandria Beach in Egypt, due to open in 2018, Swiss-Belhotel International also announced the opening of two hotels in Bahrain.

According to Hotelier Middle East, Grand Swiss-Belresort Seef, a 189-key five-star luxury resort will be ready by Q4 2017 while a new residences property in Juffair is also in the final stages of being branded as Swiss-Belresidences, due for a December 2017 opening.

Swiss-Belhotel International currently has 3,500 rooms in the pipeline for the Middle East.
