Kone wins eight new orders for projects in Saudi

Engineering and services company Kone Corporation, has won an order to supply 153 elevators in eight different projects commissioned by Alargan Projects in Saudi Arabia.

The projects involved are located in Dammam, Yanbu, Riyadh and Al Jubail and include Al Suhool Strip Mall, Al Rehab Strip Mall, Green Oasis Residential Buildings, Murooj apartments, among others.

The order was booked in the third quarter of 2016, according to a press statement.

Andrew Brosnan, portfolio manager at Alargan Projects, said: “We are delighted to be working with KONE on multiple projects. It is a huge collaboration between two companies that strive for quality and excellence.

“These projects will lead to the development of many residential and commercial units in the market of Saudi Arabia and we are proud to have Kone with us on this journey.”
