SSH wins Bahrain mixed-use development contract
SSH, a leading project management company, said it has been signed up by Marsa Al Seef Real Estate Investment Company to provide primary infrastructure and masterplanning design services for its mixed-use development in Bahrain. As per the deal, SSH will provide the design of primary infrastructure and also update of masterplanning services for the Marsa Al Seef mixed-use development, located on the northern coast of Bahrain. SSH’s services cover the initial 122-hectare site forming the first phase of what will ultimately be a 235-hectare project, said a statement from the company. The Marsa Al Seef development will be a self-contained waterfront city with extensive residential and leisure components, and complementary commercial opportunities set off-shore from the historic traditional fishing villages of Bahrain. SSH is a leading provider of infrastructure, master planning, building design, and construction supervision services in the region, with more than 130 projects in our team’s collective portfolio. The project will be designed and managed by the team at the SSH Bahrain office. The Marsa Al Seef award is the latest in a string of Bahrain-based infrastructure appointments for SSH, said a top official. "Our superior project expertise, and our understanding of the challenges involved in designing such master planned communities was key to being awarded the Marsa Al Seef project," remarked Andrew Barwick, SSH’s resident director at Bahrain. "SSH is looking forward to working with our client to bring this new development to market,"
