Sharjah Holding launches new community project
Sharjah Holding, a strategic partnership between Sharjah government and UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Properties, has launched its new neighbourhood project Al Lilac within its Al Zahia community development in Sharjah, UAE. The group's third neighbourhood project, Al Lilac, will boast of 120 homes comprising three-bedroom townhouses, four and five-bedroom villas and the newly introduced three-bedroom courtyard villas, reported state news agency Wam. The neighbourhood will also provide a host of conveniences, including areas for recreation, worship and childcare, as well as communal areas and access to retail facilities, it stated. Designed to meet the needs of the entire family, Al Lilac boasts a number of top-tier amenities, including a themed, 6,000-sq-m sensory park with interactive sculptures and landscaped areas. In addition, a series of integrated footpaths will connect it to Al Zahia’s five new themed parks, providing residents with a number of alternate pathways for jogging, walking and cycling, said the report. Structured in the form of seven individually-designed neighbourhoods, Al Zahia is currently home to 50 families in its first neighbourhood, Al Jouri Phase I, with the handover of 200 homes in Al Jouri Phase II currently underway, bringing the total number of homes in the neighbourhood to 250, stated the report. The second neighbourhood, Al Narjis, is 85 per cent sold and currently under construction
