The Big 5 Saudi 2017 opens today in Jeddah
Architects, engineers, developers, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors from around the globe are converging at the 7th edition of The Big 5 Saudi 2017 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.
The show opens at 4pm today, local Saudi time and runs until Thursday, March 30th. It is showcasing innovative products for the built environment, which are vital to delivering successfully Saudi Vision 2030’s mega-projects.
This year, The Big 5 Saudi will host more than 500 exhibitors from over 20 countries, including country pavilions from Italy, Turkey, Germany, Greece, China, Qatar, Kuwait, Spain, Hungary and India. The event is a platform for 15,000 peers to network, do business and learn.
The show is displaying 600 brands from regional and international industry leaders.
“The outlook for Saudi Arabian construction remains bright as the industry's output value is forecast to rise by 2020,” said Adeel Muhammad, Marketing Manager of exhibiting company Harwal Group. The Dubai-based firm will bring a wide range of products from building materials to prefab buildings, doors and windows as well as furniture.
The show will offer 48 complimentary and CPD (Continuous Professional Development) certified workshops to visitors attending the event. Focusing on Project Management, Innovation & Technology, and Sustainability, these will help industry professionals develop their skills and knowledge.
Other activities at the show include Live Products, Tools Demonstrations and a dedicated Concrete Zone, which is presenting new technologies.
