Meraas launches sale of first Bluewaters residences
Leading UAE developer Meraas has announced that it has launched the sales of the first residences at Bluewaters, a man-made mixed-use island located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai. The residences at Bluewaters will have a private landscaped garden podium, four swimming pools and changing facilities; a children’s pool, a splash pad, and a play area; two basketball courts, a fitness area, and two gyms, said the statement from Meraas. Home to the world’s tallest and largest observation wheel Ain Dubai, Bluewaters will boast over 200 retail and dining outlets including everything from high-end restaurants to intimate bistros; as well as two hotels, new leisure and entertainment experiences; a mosque, a supermarket, and a bank, it stated. In addition, the island will be connected to the shoreline at The Beach by a 265-metre pedestrian bridge, direct road access via a bridge to Sheikh Zayed Road and a unique driverless Group Rapid Transit system connected to the Dubai Metro. Narayanan Rajagopalan, the chief real estate officer, said: "Meraas has worked with best-in-class architects, designers, and consultants to create a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere that reflects our vision of creating places where diversity, participation and creativity are a part of everyday life." "The result is a perfect balance between island and city life and, if the enquiries that we’ve received are anything to go by, the community promises to bring together a diverse mix of nationalities," he stated. The residences at Bluewaters are scheduled for handover during the first quarter of 2018
