Star-gazing on Earth Hour at Park Inn hotels in Oman

Oman- Park Inn hotels in Oman will celebrate the annual Earth Hour under the stars. Both hotels invites to engage guests, employees and business partners, and organizing special events in the dark. Earth Hour 2016 which is the united call for environmental action around the world. Cities in 92 countries shut off their lights for one hour on March 19th to observe Earth Hour, an annual event geared at showing support for taking action on climate change issues.

Both hotels in-house guests were given the option of participating by switching off the power in their rooms from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. In the rest of the hotels, only essential lighting will be kept on with even high-level signage switched off.

At the Park Inn Muscat Hotel, in house guests will be invited to spend that time at the Sama Terrazza rooftop and observe the event under the stars with complimentary refreshments provided by the hotel and diners at RBG Grill Muscat will have their meals by candlelight during that hour.

Meanwhile at the Park Inn Hotel & Residence Duqm, guests will be invited at the Ocean Restaurant open garden offering complimentary refreshments under the stars. “This annual activity helps us to raise awareness on climate change with our guests, employees and the community” says Rabih Zein, cluster general manager for Park Inn Muscat and Park Inn Hotel & Residence Duqm.
